Newly-formed Stabilis Energy will pursue “strategic acquisitions in both LNG production and distribution assets”
Stabilis Energy, Inc. plans to take its small-scale liquefied natural gas (ssLNG) to a bigger scale this year after the creation of a new production and distribution company.
Texas-based companies American Electric Technologies, Inc. (AETI), a provider of power delivery solutions, and Stabilis Energy, a supplier of LNG to the industrial, midstream, and oilfield sectors in North America, have combined to create “Stabilis Energy, Inc.”
Stabilis Energy, Inc. President and CEO Jim Reddinger (left) told gasworld the time was right for growth in the emerging ssLNG market with Stabilis Energy (LNG production) and Prometheus Energy (LNG distribution) to become wholly-owned subsidiaries of AETI.
