The Rocky Mountains is the largest mountain range in North America, spanning 3,000 miles from the northernmost part of western Canada to New Mexico in the southwestern US. Specifically, the range passes through Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, and New Mexico in the US, as well as British Columbia and Alberta in Canada.
