For more than five decades, Cryostar has specialised in the design and manufacture of cryogenic equipment.
Since its formation in Basel, Switzerland in 1966 as a subsidiary of the American company Airco Cryogenics Division, Cryostar has operated under various guises and ownership structures – but a commitment to innovation in cryogenic pumps and technologies has remained at its core.
That dedication is today underscored and delivered by a team of 500 people at its headquarters in Hésingue in the centre of the ‘three border’ region comprised of France, Germany and Switzerland, where a convergence of cultures gives Cryostar an inherently international feel; almost a pre-requisite for a company that exports over 90% of its products globally.
