Having just returned from gasworld’s Asia-Pacific Industrial Gas Conference 2018 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the sense of optimism for the region as a whole – let alone particular pockets of high growth – was exuded throughout the event and the many conversations within it.
Among those pockets of growth are the emerging economies for which the region is so famed. There are many such ‘emerging economies’ in the Asia-Pacific region, and the future is definitely bright for the South East Asian gases market, but here we profile four distinct countries key to the growth of today and tomorrow in the region.
