Scottish technology firm Gas Sensing Solutions (GGS) has launched a new ultra-low power CO2 sensor, the CozIR®-LP3.
Released today, the sensor includes on-board power management, allowing the user to control sensor power consumption during measurements and when the sensor is inactive.
The LED technology allows the sensor to achieve low-power consumption, making it suitable for a range of applications including battery-powered and wirelessly connected devices.
Julian Hayes, CEO of Gas Sensing Solutions said, “We are delighted to add the CozIR®-LP3 to our range of ultra-low-power CO2 sensors.”
“Customers can benefit from a low height form factor and small footprint, while still achieving the lowest of power consumption.”
“The new sensor comes with an array of measurement output types, alarm and control functions options making it our most flexible sensor to date.”
GSS’ new sensor has been designed to give the designer several fixturing options. It features a low height form factor, with options for mounting on top, below or through the PCB.
The CozIR®-LP3 can also run fully autonomously with automatic self-checking and auto-zeroing, enabling the sensor to operate for long periods with no user intervention.
