GasLab is a provider of unique and advanced gas sensor technology for a variety of industrial, commercial, and consumer applications.
The Ormond Beach, Florida-based company is owned by husband and wife Ray and Irene Hicks, who started the company out of the demand and need from customers. Collectively, the couple have over 50 years of combined experience in the gas detection industry.
Until January this year, GasLab owned CO2Meter Inc, a designer and manufacturer of gas detection and monitoring devices predominately for carbon dioxide (CO2). Through its ownership of CO2Meter, Ray and Irene experienced numerous multiple customer requests for a variety of other gases besides CO2, as well as other forms of industrial measurement sensors like temperature, humidity and flow.
