Current CEO of Finnish energy company Gasum, Johanna Lamminen, is to step down after holding the position since 2014.
Commenting on Lamminen’s involvement with the company’s transition to providing cleaner energy for the Nordic market, Elina Engman, Chairman of the Board, Gasum, said,
“Under Johanna’s leadership, the company has made great achievements.”
“On behalf of the entire Board of Directors, I would like to warmly thank Johanna for her contribution to Gasum and wish her all the best for the future”, she added.
Expressing pride in the journey taken by her and Gasum’s staff, Lamminen said that together they have built a Nordic energy company that provides clean energy across multiple industries, providing it with a clear goal for the future.
She concluded by saying, “The work is done, and now it is the right time for me to head towards new challenges.”
Gasum’s current CFO, Kai Laitinen, has been appointed interim CEO while the company seeks a suitable replacement, with its recruitment process beginning immediately.
