H2 Mobility Deutschland and its shareholders Shell and Air Liquide have jointly opened Germany’s 64th hydrogen station in Fürth, Bavaria.
The new location at the Shell service station Hans-Vogel-Str.55 is situated directly on the A73 motorway slip road Fürth-Poppenreuth.
Bavaria is leading the way in Germany with hydrogen stations in Munich, Nuremberg, Ingolstadt, Regensburg and Geiselwind. Two new stations will open soon in Erlangen and Würzburg.
At currently 14 stations, it has the most of any German federal state. In the Nuremberg metropolitan region alone, there will be a total of eight hydrogen filling stations, just recently opened Bayreuth and Berg bei Hof.
