Gulf Helium Services (GHS) has reached a milestone step in its operations, handling its 1000th helium (He) container.
The company celebrated the achievement at its facility in Ras Laffan West Side Support Service Area, Qatar on the 23rd May 2017.
The ceremony was attended by Fahad M F Buzwair, Chairman of Buzwair Holding, Akiji Makino, Chairman and CEO of Iwatani Corporation and also by Norikazu Onishi, President and CEO of LNG Japan Corporation, representing the three shareholders of GHS.
GHS is the first and only He handling facility in Qatar incorporating liquid and gaseous He trans-filling, He ISO container maintenance, and road haulage logistics services.
The company facilitates the use of He, offering a reliable and a quality service to Qatari end users as well as to customers in the Middle East and North African markets. GHS will help secure the stable supply of He, meeting the increasing demand in medical applications, specialised welding, deep sea diving, and as an industrial coolant.
