Grasys declares project developments

Grasys has announced that it is to supply three membrane nitrogen plants to the EFCO group of companies, one of the major sunflower oil and margarines producers in Russia, with the air-to-nitrogen plants intended for use for inert environment generation by production and storage of vegetable oil.

In 2006, Grasys supplied the EFCO Group with a nitrogen membrane plant with the capacity of 40 nmі of 99.5% nitrogen per hour and in 2007 improved the plant capacity up to 60 nmі per hour.

Following its optimal delivery performance and in light of the company’s apparent expertise in this field, Grasys won the tender for this latest supply of three membrane nitrogen plants for EFCO. The nitrogen plants provided for EFCO group are designed for unattended operation with automatic support and performance control and no manned attendance required during operation, with the plant’s technical characteristics selected to optimally match the customer’s process needs.

Grasys membrane nitrogen plants are high-technology nitrogen production systems designed for the storage, transhipment and packing of food products in inert environments, making it possible to protect food products from oxidation, moulding, microorganisms and pests propagation.
