Ground-breaking Cryolor ceremony for new Chennai plant

Following the news that Cryolor would be setting-up a cryogenic gas storage equipment plant near Chennai in India, gasworld can reveal that construction at the new site is now underway.

News of the planned facility has been in the headlines not once but twice, originally back in January 2008 and again in recent weeks – with Cryolor now pursuing its original investment scheme ‘without any scale-back’.

Furthermore, construction is now underway. The leading cryogenic equipment manufacturer celebrated its ground breaking ceremony for start of construction on 23rd April 2009, at the site of the purpose built, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility near Chennai (Madras).

Renowned for its high quality products used in the storage and transport of liquefied cryogenic gases such as oxygen, nitrogen, argon and LNG, Cryolor has been servicing the demand of its global customer base from its plant in France since 1983.
