Day two of gasworld’s Europe Industrial Gas Conference commences in Düsseldorf, Germany this morning, with growth drivers and innovative technologies across Europe in focus.
More than 180 delegates from 28 countries have gathered at the Hilton Hotel in heart of the city to delve into the challenges and opportunities in the continent’s industrial gases industry.
The first day of the ‘Carving Out Growth’ convention began yesterday, setting the scene and examining the hot topics in Europe’s industrial gases sector, with a strong emphasis on digitalisation, research and development (R&D) innovation and gas commoditisation, as well as the opportunities and challenges concerning safety and new regulations coming into play.
Following a fine dining and networking experience at the Conference Evening, supported by Platinum Sponsor Herose GmbH, day two of the conference now turns its attention to innovation and the inventive ways companies can generate growth in Europe’s essentially stable market.
More industry professionals will take to the stage today to shed light on the region’s potential growth drivers, including:
- Aldo Fumagilli, Chairman and Managing Director – The SOL Group
- Marius Gorczyca, Director Sales and Engineering – ASCO Carbon Dioxide
- Ian Williamson, Chairman – European Hydrogen Association
- Antione Mazas, Director – Air Liquide Advanced Technologies GmbH
- Dr. Friedhelm Herzog, Senior Application Manager – Messer
- Michael Mortensen, CEO – Union Engineering
