Hannover Messe has officially launched its Digital Days, two-day digital event based around the key theme of industrial transformation.

For the first time in its 73-year history, the Deutshe Messe made the decision to hold the trade fair virtually due to the coronavirus pandemic.

This year, Industry 5.0, artificial intelligence, 5G, smart energy and logistics 4.0 will be major talking points between participants, as it hopes to provide the same take-away content.

Although industry experts will not be gathering together in person, the Digital Days event will still provide attendees with keynotes, panel discussions, live chats, networking and presentations.

Kicking off on the 14th July, the Digital Days event will begin with a panel discussion under the title, Forward to the New – New Opportunities for Progress, featuring an array of industry experts.

Partner Country Indonesia will put a start two day two, with Arif Havas Oegroseno, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the Federal Republic of Germany, providing an overview of Indonesia’s economic development and investment opportunities for industry.

In addition to the above, one of the biggest highlights of Hannover Messe Digital Days is the Hermes Award ceremony. For the first time, this internationally coveted technology prize will be awarded digitally. The winner will be announced on 14th July.
