The Harris Products Group’s Model 25GX gas regulator is this year celebrating 50 years in the industrial regulator world.

Launched in 1972, the Model 25GX is a medium/heavy duty regulator for oxy or fuel gas and is now believed to be the world’s best-selling industrial gas regulator.

In celebration of its birthday, Harris is offering the innovation in a limited-edition camouflage design to signify the company’s support for veterans’ programmes and hiring.

A popular innovation for the company, Harris has shipped more than 400,000 Model 25GX regulators have been sold and shipped to locations throughout the world in the last 20 years.

David Gailey, Product Manager for Specialty Gas Products at Harris Products Group, said, “The Model 25GX stands the test of time for workmanship and performance.”

“Fabricators, welders and other industrial users need reliable equipment that can withstand harsh work environments. Harris uses only the highest quality industrial-grade materials in our regulators such as brass, stainless steel, nickel, chrome and aluminium.”

“Lower-cost plastic composites simply will not hold up in the long run.”

Harris manufacturers its regulators in an ISO 9001 and 14001 certified facility and ships them across the globe. Every regulator undergoes extensive reviews and tests.

Gailey added, “Model 25GX regulators are manufactured with consistency and attention to detail, using precision machining and robotic equipment to achieve tolerance levels that others can’t match.”

“Our distributors sell them in high volumes because of their attractive price point and their reliability. Industrial users trust the 25GX to perform safely and consistently in the harshest of conditions.”

“As we celebrate the 50th anniversary, we expect the 25GX to continue to be the global industrial bestseller for many future generations.”
