It’s full steam ahead for Highview Power as the energy storage provider’s CEO and President today updated on operations.

As governments and markets around the globe are dealing with the current health crisis due to the coronavirus outbreak (Covid-19), Javier Cavada said Highview Power has not been severely affected by the situation.

The UK company kicked off the year with a lot of momentum following the announcement of a new major partnership with Sumitomo Heavy Industries (SHI).

The $46m partnership will see the two companies work together to expand cryogenic energy storage projects globally.

“This is an exciting time to be a part of the Highview Power team. I am grateful for the tremendous dedication and hard work of our people, particularly during this challenging time.”

“I look forward to many more new exciting developments to share with you as we push toward our mission – Mission Possible: A World Powered by 100% Renewable Energy.”
