US industrial gas company Holston Gases has completed the acquisition of K&F Gas and Welding Supply in what the company describes as a “perfect fit.”
Holston Gases President Robert Anders enthused, “The gas and supply products of K&F Gas and Welding Supply will complement those of Holston Gases, allowing the customers to consolidate their purchasing with one vendor at competitive prices.”
K&F Gas and Welding Supply owner Keith Fain agreed that the combined businesses presented enhanced benefits, stating, “Our customers will really benefit from our combined expertise with Holston’s people and resources.”
It is understood that Holston Gases will continue to operate from its current location in Clarksville, Tennessee. Financial details were not disclosed.
According to the Independent Welding Distributors Cooperative, Inc. (IWDC), Holston Gases also completed a second acquisition of Upstate Gas Co. in Inman South Carolina. No further details were given.
Holston Gases is a regional distributor of industrial and medical gases as well as welding, safety and industrial supplies. Headquartered in Knoxville, Tennessee, the company has been in business for nearly 60 years.
Today, it operates in 27 locations in seven South-East US states.
