Clean energy solutions company Holthausen is expanding its activities with a new facility in The Netherlands.
The Clean Technology subsidiary has the capacity to convert vehicles for the use of hydrogen (H2) as fuel. For the expansion, a hall of around 2500 sq metres will be adapted close to the existing facility in Hoogezand.
CEO Stefan Holthausen hopes to hire around fifteen new employees.
The company attracted worldwide attention last year when it launched a H2-powered street sweeper in Hoogezand.
A new hydrogen (H2) station was launched yesterday in Groningen to help “realise 100% clean transport in Europe by 2030”.
Ontario, Canada, is taking the next steps to explore hydrogen (H2)-powered trains as it looks to transform the GO network into a rapid-transit system that will provide faster and more frequent service for commuters and families.
Month on month the gasworld website continues to be the primary portal for information, on a global scale, about our industry - be it through the provision of news and features, or information in the expansive company directory section. Launched in 2004, it is the only independent online news provider and information portal for the global industrial gas community and the larger end-user markets. The website also now incorporates news for gasworld US and Specialty Gas Report.
