To protect the environment and reduce pollutants, logistics company HOYER has expanded its fleet with alternative drive systems, such as LNG trucks.
The German company said two new LNG trucks have been put on the road by HOYER, together with its partner Nippon Gases Deutschland, to carry industrial gases on an everyday basis throughout the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
Thomas Hüttemann, Managing Director of the Gaslog business unit of the HOYER Group, said, “As experts in transporting gases liquefied under pressure and cryogenically, we ensure gases of all kinds are transported safely and smoothly on a daily basis.”
“The growing LNG market has an especially positive effect on the balance sheet of our business.”
“Not only transporting these alternative energy sources but also driving with them ourselves immediately was therefore a logical consequence for us.”
“Climate change is the biggest challenge of our time and Drax has a crucial role in tackling it.”
