Leading bulk logistics provider HOYER Group (HOYER) has seen its sustainability efforts recognised following the awarding of a bronze medal by international rating platform EvoVadis.

The award was granted as a reward for HOYER’s efforts to build upon its sustainability policy by establishing a strategy to ‘take responsibility’ for various aspects of its corporate activities, including environmental, economic and ethical factors.

With 40% of the participating logistics companies receiving no award, the win is a key victory for the service HOYER provides.

“We are proud of the positive result,” said Eric Schlichter, Manager of the Group Sustainability Forum, HOYER. “And we are using the analysis by the independent EvoVadis experts to become even better.”

A contributing factor to the company’s success is its dedicated division, SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, Quality), which focuses on improving standards across all sectors.
