HyGear has signed a distributor agreement with Rijngas to further increase production from its hydrogen (H2) production facilities in Arnhem.
The onsite gas generation specialist recently commissioned its H2 filling facilities in Arnhem as a strategic asset to serve its on-site bulk customers in the region with trailer supply. With this new agreement, the facility will also be used to fill cylinders for Rijngas, a gas distribution company active in packaged gases, that will serve customers that require smaller amounts of H2.
According to the contract, HyGear will supply H2 gas to Rijngas that covers the Flemish Region of Belgium, North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany and The Netherlands. The purity of the hydrogen ranges from 99.9% to 99.999% with the pressure of either 200 or 300 bar depending on the requirement of the customers. The distribution is expected to start in the beginning of November.
