Onsite gas generation specialist HyGear held an opening ceremony at the beginning of October to mark the completion of its new and larger home in Arnhem, The Netherlands, as well as the celebration of its 15th year anniversary.

The Mayor of Arnhem city, Ahmed Marcouch, inaugurated the premises with HyGear’s CEO, Marinus van Driel. More than 120 people attended the ceremony including business partners and associates, shareholders and officials from the local government.

Marinus van Driel expressed the company’s expectations for its new premises, “As HyGear continues its growth globally, it has become obvious that space in the old premises was a restriction for us. With this new and larger facility, we will be able to continue catering to the rapid expansion of the business.”

The new premises comprises of offices, test sites, construction and assembly areas and a hydrogen (H2) filling facility to supply HyGear’s bulk customers in the region as well as trailers and cyclinders for other industrial gas suppliers. The filling facility will also function as a H2 station for cars and buses.
