Yesterday afternoon (3rd March), The Grey Bruce Health Unit enabled the freezer to be forwarded to the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit.

The freezer provides cold storage at -70°C and will be used in Windsor-Essex for their use in storage of Covid-19 Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine.

“Due to the tremendous support provided by local businesses, specifically Chapman’s Ice Cream, the Grey Bruce Health Unit was in a positive position to provide the freezer to an area in high need,” a statement from the Grey Bruce Health Unit read.
