The China International Exhibition on Gases Technology, Equipment and Application (IG China) has celebrated another successful year with more than 5,000 visitors attending the two-day event.
The annual trade show presents the most developed achievements, technical exchanges and enhances business networks for the industrial gas industry. This year, it was held from 6th to 7th September at the Hangzhou International Expo Centre in China.
The 12th China Hydrogen and Fuel Cells Expo, 12th China International Natural GasTech Expo and the 10th China Natural Gas Vehicles, Vessels, Engines and Refuelling Stations – NGV Expo, were held alongside this year’s IG China.
The event has continued to grow since its inception in 1999. At IG China 20, around 200 exhibitors from 15 countries and 5,500 visitors were in attendance compared to 150 exhibitors and 4,200 attendees the previous year.
Key exhibitors included Hangzhou Oxygen Group, BTIC, Chengdu Cryogenic, South China Special Gas, Sichuan Air Separation, Fortune, Suzhou Oxygen, Xinglu, Rich, Triumph, Chengdu Air-Separation Plant Valve, SIAD, Bray, Rego, PBS, ASCO, Turbo-Tech, Fives, Ingas.
Supported by International Gases Manufacturers Association (IGMA), All Indian Industrial Gases Manufacturers Assocation (AIIGMA), Middle East Gases Assocation and Russian TK 114 Cryogenic Equipment Standard Technology Committee, the organisers staged high-profile forums like 12th China Hydrogen Investment Forum and two business matchmaking meetings, as well as site visits to Hangzhou Fortune Gas Company.
There were 50% tentative agreements and contracts signed during the two-day event.
“With full support and careful planning, the positive participation from the leading players of both local and international manufacturers and the overseas trade associations, IG China 2018 concluded with a big success. Due to the success of this year’s event, IG China 2019 will remain in Hangzhou,” said the organising committee.
