A major industrial gas event based in China will now take place at the Chengdu Century City New International Convention and Exhibition Center in Chengdu, marking the fourth time the event will be held in the city.
The 24th China International Exhibition on Gases Technology, Equipment and Application will showcase technological advances in the industrial gas sector including emerging fields such as microelectronics and precision testing.
Following the strong support seen in China for national policies centred around industrial gases, in addition to the huge growth seen in China’s burgeoning industrial gas sector, the event has sought to maximise this momentum by relocating it to Chengdu, to take place from the 6th to the 8th of September 2022.
The capital of China’s Sichuan province, Chengdu is considered the gateway city to China’s western hinterlands and possesses a ‘complete industrial chain’ of industrial gas infrastructure.
This was emphasised at the 2021 Central Economic Working Conference, which focused on promoting coordinated development of the sector in all parts of the region and of the Chendu-Chongqing Shuang cheng Economic Circle.
