The beginning of 2008 has reportedly seen a new chapter of projects for IGas, all with a 'green' theme and an emphasis on renewable energy as the company undertakes involvement in a variety of LNG and LCNG projects.

Several strategic projects and relationships are now established, to cover a range of projects and systems including bio-methane recovery and liquefaction, LCNG & LNG fuelling stations, Waste to Plasma Energy Facilities, and tidal energy harnessing. All projects boast great potential for positively contributing to present and future environmental concerns.

Prompted by these 'green' projects, the company has significantly changed the manner in which it now executes its projects and the following activities have been implemented within its iProject system and operating ethos, electronic issue of all project documentation, high speed large file transfer through its website Client Area, localisation and reduction of supplier database, and travel reduction planning.

This will all be complemented later in the year with the introduction of ISO 14001 within IGas.
