Ron Giesen, a long-serving employee at Chart Industries, died suddenly with his family at his side on Thursday 1st November at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.
Ron Giesen celebrates 40 years at Chart
Giesen, a New Prague, MN native and the ninth of 11 children, attended NEI College of Technology before starting his journey of more than 40 years with MVE and Chart Industries.
This image was taken recently at Giesen’s 40th anniversary with the company, where he served as the Senior Service Technician Microbulk Mobiles and Meters. He was previously Field Service Manager and Microbulk Systems Specialist.
Away from work, Giesen was a member of the church choir, active in youth sports and served as a mentor in coaching baseball, hockey and basketball. His love of sports saw him playing baseball his entire life, most recently with the Union Hill Pitbulls. He enjoyed all Minnesota sports teams but the Gophers held the number one spot. The greatest joy in life, however, came from his children and grandchildren.
Chart offers its condolences to his family, friends and colleagues.
