Xenon and Argon has been made illegal to use by sports athletes. Why is this? Read below to find out.
Xenon, which is used by athletes to boost red blood cells, and in turn, to boost their stamina, performance and results – has recently been made illegal by the World Anti Doping Agency.
When consumed with oxygen, xenon stimulates the production of EPO which makes a better performance on the track. However, this is now classified as doping and is illegal.
It turns out that these two noble gases no longer result in noble results on the track.
Effective October 1, 2015, or as contracts permit, Air Products have increased product pricing and monthly service charges for merchant customers in North America – involving a range of gases.
Month on month the gasworld website continues to be the primary portal for information, on a global scale, about our industry - be it through the provision of news and features, or information in the expansive company directory section. Launched in 2004, it is the only independent online news provider and information portal for the global industrial gas community and the larger end-user markets. The website also now incorporates news for gasworld US and Specialty Gas Report.
