Earlier this month, Burckhardt Compression was awarded a significant equipment contract by International Polymers Company (IPC).
The Saudi Arabian firm, based in Jubail, contracted Burckhardt to deliver a Hyper Compressor for its LDPE-EVA plant. Meanwhile. the production process has been licensed by ExxonMobil Chemical Technology Licensing LLC (ExxonMobil).
According to Burckhardt, the order was won thanks to a large number of references in low-density polyethylene (LDPE) plants with similar or larger capacities. Indeed, Burckhardt benefits from over 55 years experience in manufacturing Hyper Compressors.
