Air Liquide is establishing a number of scholarships for students of Pioltello in the Province of Milan, Italy.
The scholarship will be set-up in collaboration with the City of Pioltello, and comes in response to calls for the award of scholarships to deserving students or less well-off residents in the municipality.
The scholarships were actually established on 23rd October, calling applications for students residing in Pioltello and enrolled in the Faculties of Engineering, Law and Economics, or a technical institute and/or Science.
The allocation of the scholarship complements other initiatives for cooperation and exchange with local citizens offered by Air Liquide in neighbouring areas, to its production facilities.
Gian Luca Cremonesi, CEO of Air Liquide Italy, commented, ”We think it’s important to know the area in which we operate…and, to the extent possible, promote growth in order to develop with the communities that host our operations, based on a relationship of mutual trust and openness.”
“…the support of education, scientific, technical and economic integration of the younger generation is very much in line with the strategy of Air Liquide, which has innovation and research [at the] base of its growth.”
