The new REALWELD product from Lincoln Electric improves training results by enhancing student comprehension, reducing training time, and increasing certification rates.
The new hands-on device enables users to practice multi-pass capability in a number of positions and features an ‘Arc OFF’ mode that allows students to first practice, troubleshoot and master welding techniques without burning an arc, reducing programme material costs.
As a user welds, the system analyses and scores every attempted weld trial on a five-technique parameter. This information is then stored and can be accessed by the student in the booth.
The system also has an audio coaching feature and enables students to review how-to-videos. Once a user welds, instructors then can review scoring and analysis to track student progress.
