Linde Canada Limited, a member of industrial gas giant The Linde Group, has enhanced its e-commerce website with new Responsive Web Design (RWD) capabilities.
The new site is now mobile-friendly, allowing desktop pages to be viewed in response to the size of the device that is being used.
The bilingual site provides product descriptions, images and prices for more than 10,000 products including gases, welding and cutting equipment, consumables and safety supplies.
Robert Parkanyi, eBusiness Manager for Linde Americas, explained, “We have observed how our customers have used our WebShop over the past several years, and our redesign is based on making it easier for them to do online business with Linde.”
“Our redesign provides the Business to Customer (B2C) experience to our Business to Business (B2B) customers,” he added.
The Canadian branch of the Tier One corporation still has plans for improvements to the site, including online live chat and a mobile app that customers can use to reorder empty gas cylinders and find the closest Linde store.
