Linde CryoPlants ventures into new markets

Linde CryoPlants, a UK subsidiary of Linde Engineering and part of The Linde Group, has announced the successful commissioning of a GAN600 cryogenic nitrogen plant at Fatima Fertilizer Company, Sadikabad, Pakistan.

Fatima Fertilizer’s new complex has a production capacity of 5000 MTPD, comprising urea, nitro phosphate (NP), nitrogen phosphorous potassium (NPK) and calcium ammonium nitrate (CAN), intermediate products include ammonia and nitric acid.

The complex also includes a 45 MW captive power plant in addition to off-sites and utilities. Natural gas feedstock is provided by a 47km pipeline from the Mari Gas fields.

Linde CryoPlants has been successful in developing a cryogenic nitrogen plant that is capable of operating in an in an extremely challenging ammonia rich environment.
