Linde Americas, a member of The Linde Group, will be donating $100,000 to the American Red Cross in Southeast Texas, as the state continues to battle the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey.

Currently, approximately 7,500 people remain in shelters provided by the Red Cross.

Jens Luehring, President, Linde Americas Gases, said, “Our thoughts remain with the millions of people, including Linde employees and their families, who continue to face a long road to recovery from the unprecedented hurricane destruction in the region.”

“We hope that all those impacted by the flooding and other after-effects will be able to return to their homes and communities quickly and safely. As a company, we are committed to doing our part to help,” he continued.

Linde has also pledged to match its employees’ donations to the Red Cross.

Jason Cooper, Managing Director, Linde Engineering North America, said, “As a Texas native and fellow Houstonian, it gives me great pride to see such tremendous fortitude amid this incredible devastation.”

“We will continue to pull together to support our employees, neighbors and the communities in which we live and work,” he added.
