Linde has expanded its plant turnaround and overhaul and pipeline services capabilities to include the Gulf Coast region from a new facility in Baytown, Texas.
“These two locations allow Linde to provide services to customers in the two major areas of activity in the US – natural gas production in the Northeast and petrochemical and refining in Texas and Louisiana,” said Brian Kubalik, Program Manager for Chemistry and Energy, Linde Americas.
“Our site operators – who have over 200 years of collective experience – are experts in the safe operation of and handling of gases, hydrocarbons, high-pressure pumping, vaporization, [and] storage equipment. And with a 24-hour dedicated National Operations Center, project efficiency and uninterrupted services are the backbone of the business.”
Linde recently completed a new air separation unit (ASU) in La Porte, TX, which will supply industrial gases to the Baytown facility.
The Linde Group’s 2016 Q1 earnings unveiled today are “stable” according to the industrial gas company, with revenue generally remaining flat across the board, although a slight downward trend rings true throughout.
Month on month the gasworld website continues to be the primary portal for information, on a global scale, about our industry - be it through the provision of news and features, or information in the expansive company directory section. Launched in 2004, it is the only independent online news provider and information portal for the global industrial gas community and the larger end-user markets. The website also now incorporates news for gasworld US and Specialty Gas Report.
