In forming a new partnership, Linde Healthcare and Care Innovations® have joined forces to globally expand their remote patient management (RPM) services.
The Tier One corporation chose the US-based company’s RPM solution Health Harmony, which simplifies remote management by providing intuitive and east-to-use technology, to extend its current remote management services across its global base.
The two corporations will cooperate in building a global RPM system based on Care Innovations’ existing technology infrastructure and Linde’s homecare services, with the ultimate aim of bridging the gap between clinical care and managing homecare patients.
As such, the collaboration will modify a combination of homecare, patient management and logistic services, clinical programme development, and hardware and software to engage patient self-management.
”Care Innovations’ technology is going to help us establish new and innovative services for patients at home”
It is understood that the system will be deployed into several territories in the US, Western Europe and Asia-Pacific regions. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
Urmi Prasad Richardon, Head of Linde Healthcare, underlined, “Care Innovations’ technology is going to help us establish new and innovative services for patients at home. This partnership enables Linde Heathcare to provide significantly better care delivery to our patients and integrate the most innovative remote monitoring technologies with our global expertise in homecare.”
Randy Swanson, CEO at Care Innovations, added, “We are confident that their expansive global footprint and their strong expertise in homecare, coupled with our comprehensive suite of technology and services, will produce an innovative RPM infrastructure that creates value for Linde and extends our business into new areas.”
The partnership will initially focus on helping individuals suffering from respiratory conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
