The Linde Group has been listed on the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI) for the fourth year in a row. Linde’s sustainability performance continues to rank in the top 10 percent of its industry.
In all, 20 categories in the areas of economic, environmental and social performance were assessed, with topics such as customer focus, innovation management and compliance coming under as much scrutiny as climate protection, product stewardship and labour practices. Linde received special recognition this year in a number of areas, in particular for its reporting on environmental and social topics.
About the DJSI
DJSI is an internationally renowned sustainability share index. It covers the top 10 percent of the 2,500 largest companies in the world listed on the S&P Global Broad Market Index. The companies are assessed by analysts from RobecoSAM, an independent service provider for sustainable investments.
Since December, more than 48 million birds have been lost in avian flu control efforts — all of which has pushed egg prices skywards.
The Linde Group is understood to be interested in investing in the seafood industry in Andhra Pradesh, southeast India.
