Linde Electronics is to present its 2008 Global Supplier Performance Award to BASF SE, of Ludwigshafen, Germany.

To ensure the success of Linde Gases’ Electronics business, the company relies on its suppliers in providing reliable, high-quality, cost-competitive and secure electronic materials and services.

Suppliers are critical and valued partners to Linde - ensuring its collaborative success in a dynamic and competitive global market environment.

The Global Supplier Performance Award is based on the results of annual supplier performance reviews and audits conducted across major providers to Linde Electronics, the global electronic gases business of The Linde Group.

“BASF has done much more than just provide excellent service and safe products in 2008 - BASF has gone the extra mile,” said Edwin Geier, Linde Europe Electronic Sourcing Manager.

“In 2008, BASF has pursued new product opportunities, established chemical bulk filling capabilities and expanded its global reach to assist in our Asian markets. We appreciate and recognise the accomplishments of BASF and look to grow our future relationship.”

“We are honored to receive this award from Linde,” said Karl-Rudolf Kurtz, Vice President Electronic Materials, BASF SE.

“For us, it is recognition of all our efforts to help our customers to become more successful. We are sure that Linde and BASF together will expand and further improve this promising collaboration.”
