Linde supports airport development

Linde North America, part of The Linde Group, will cover 30% of the cost of building a hydrogen refueling station at San Francisco International Airport.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, the city’s airport has received a $1.7m grant to build a refueling station for vehicles running on hydrogen fuel.

The grant, awarded from the state’s Air Resources Board, covers 70% of the cost of building the station, and Linde North America has agreed to foot the rest of the bill.

The station will be built near the Millbrae Avenue interchange, at the southern end of the airport.
