Graduate Event Sales Job Role


This role would ideally suit a graduate with an interest in the events or publishing industry, or someone looking to change career, who has the confidence and drive to achieve in a challenging and growing industry.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead sourcing for potential delegates and event attendees
  • Generating sales from previous attendees as well as new business
  • Presenting and confidentally selling table top and sponsorship packages
  • Assisting the event sales team in lead qualification, sourcing and appointment setting
  • Developing global business relationships
  • Working across the full gasworld event portfolio
  • Support of team member when required
  • Answering customer enquiries in a timely and professional manner by email and telephone
  • Working to meet personal and company-wide monthly targets
  • Ensure Dynamics is updated regularly with client and contact information
  • To attend sales meetings and training sessions as required
  • To cover other areas of the business where necessary.

Must Haves

  • The drive to succeed and the desire to learn and develop
  • A degree and/or a minimum of one year’s experience in a similar role
  • An eye for detail
  • Impeccable time management and organisational skills
  • A creative, passionate and energetic personality
  • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
