Luxfer-GTM Technologies will be donating 2% of sales from its GMT Gas Transport line of products to support efforts for Harvey disaster relief.

As after effects of Tropical Storm Harvey continues to overwhelm the Texas Gulf Coast, Luxfer-GTM Technologies wants to do their part to aid the victims of this terrible disaster. Luxfer-GTM announces that it will donate 2% of sales of any of its GTM Gas Transport line of products to the support efforts for Harvey disaster relief.

Micheal Koonce, President, Luxfer-GTM Technologies, said in a statement, “Our hearts go out to everyone being impacted by the devastating path of this historic storm.” He continued, “It’s hard to fully appreciate the impact, in part because it isn’t over yet. But we know thousands of people have lost everything and now face the daunting challenge of putting their lives and communities back together.”

All our thoughts go out to the people, communities and businesses affected by Hurricane Harvey in Texas, Louisiana and the surrounding areas. We wish everybody the very best in these challenging times and during the recovery process.

As you may be aware, gasworld is holding its North America Industrial Gas Conference in Houston later this year. We have been in contact with Westin Oaks at the Galleria; they sustained very little damage during the storm and are almost back to being fully functional. The city’s two airports, IAH and Hobby are also expected to return to full service by Monday 4th September.

Our event will be held as planned, as we continue to support the region and hold our global conference in Houston this December.

We look forward to welcoming you to Texas later this year.
