Luxfer and Enviromech’s stand at GNV 2009 recently played host to visitors from across the world, proving a successful industry showcase for the partnership’s newly opened European Alternative Fuel Centre in Brescia, Italy.
Held in Madrid under the theme ‘Towards a clean and sustainable mobility’, the event attracted specialists and speakers on issues related to the development of natural gas, biogas and hydrogen for transport.
Among the main exhibits at GNV 2009 were Luxfer’s Type 3 cylinders, combining lightweight, fully wrapped carbon composite technology with an all-metal aluminium liner and 404mm diameter.
The product range has been developed primarily for use on commercial buses and trucks with lightweight aluminium lined fully wrapped carbon composite cylinders, available with water capacities ranging from 84 litres to 320 litres.
