gasworld is excited to announce further speakers for its South East Asia Industrial Gas Conference, taking place at the Shangri-La Hotel in Bangkok from the 6th-8th December, 2016.
In the context of economic headwinds and a number of end-user market challenges stifling opportunities for growth, market intelligence and value creation is arguably more important than ever before.
Against this backdrop, gasworld’s South East Asia Industrial Gas Conference, entitled ‘Tiger Economies and Opportunities to Roar,’ will explore the markets creating opportunities in the region – and how the industrial gas community can successfully do business in these emerging markets.
gasworld is honoured to announce that Boon Hai, Vice-President of Southeast Asia and the Pacific for Air Liquide, will be the opening speaker at the conference. Hai reports to Vice-President and Executive Committee member of Air Liquide, Francois Venet, who is now regrettably unable to attend the event due to other commitments.
Hai, who previously held the position of Managing Director of Air Liquide in both Taiwan and Thailand, will open the conference on Wednesday 7th December at The Shangri-La Hotel venue.
The second session of the conference, entitled ‘Tiger Gas Evolution,’ will see Khun Piyabut of Bangkok Industrial Gases (BIG) presenting on the industrial gases business in Thailand, and Alvin Zulkarnain of PT Cryo Services Indonesia examining the market within Indonesia. They will join Tim Evison from Messer, who will discuss the changing demands for industrial gas in the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) region.
Day two will begin with a session on application drivers, and a presentation from leading cryogenic equipment company Dohmeyer on food freezing. This will be followed by further industry experts discussing the growth of applications in healthcare and carbon dioxide (CO2) markets in the region.
Delegates are invited to participate in three days of dynamic activity, including a cutting-edge conference featuring prestigious speakers, dedicated exhibition time, and valuable networking opportunities.
There is only a week left to take advantage of the Early Bird rate, which ends on 4th November, 2016.
