The Gases and Welding Distributors Association (GAWDA) has opened registration for attendees and exhibitors for its 2016 Spring Management Conference. The annual event is scheduled April 3-5 in Savannah, GA, this year, John Ospina, GAWDA Executive Director, has announced.
The conference will take place those three days at the Westin Savannah Golf Resort and Spa. Last year’s conference brought together GAWDA staff, GAWDA Board of Directors leadership, and some 630-plus welding and gases distributors and suppliers. They will enjoy relevant speakers, a supplier showcase, cross-industry networking, and an update on the status of GAWDA organizational initiatives from the Board president. In 2016, the Board is led by William Visintainer, President of Atlas Welding Supply Co., of Tuscaloosa, AL.
Additional highlights will be the announcement of the local organizational recipients of the GAWDA Gives Back charitable program, and the presentation of 12 GAWDA-funded college scholarships for students who are studying in curriculums applicable to the welding and gases industry.
