gasworld is in the process of planning the 2016 South East Asia Industrial Gas Conference. Taking place from 8th – 10th November, 2016 at the Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok, gasworld will be heading to Thailand for what will be our 17th Global Industrial Gas Conference.

gasworld conferences last visited the Asia-Pacific region in November 2014, when around 250 industrial gas professionals gathered at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Singapore to discuss and debate the opportunities for growth.

The 2014 conference reflected on what seems to be an ever-growing playground in the Asia-Pacific region for industrial gas companies across the globe looking to invest in a dynamic, yet emerging market. Delegates heard that, despite falling oil prices, gas market revenues in South East Asia had generally grown across the region and that even with slower growth rates in China, Asia is redefining its global role – becoming the top coal exporter, the biggest LNG supplier and the largest steel producer.

The region is still very much a hot bed of activity, with significant investments continuing in energy, electronics, manufacturing and healthcare as part of the ongoing ‘industrial evolution’ that’s underway. But can this growth continue? What effect have sustained low oil prices had on the region? And what will be the growth opportunities for the next decade? All of these very valid questions, and more, will be in the spotlight as gasworld returns to South East Asia with its conference in Thailand next year.

As a must attend event of 2016, make sure you join gasworld in making its next visit to the South East Asia region the comprehensive knowledge exchange that it strives to be. Participation opportunities are available for delegates, event sponsors, and exhibitors. We also welcome your thoughts on the topics you want to hear about and the speakers you want to hear from.
