Adding four new locations to its Packaged Division, MATHESON has successfully acquired the assets and business of Quimby Welding Supplies, Inc., based in Portland, Oregon, US.
For Chairman and CEO William J. Kroll, the deal is significant for MATHESON’s position in the medical and specialty gases business, given the added-value opportunities.
“We are truly excited to have Quimby as part of the MATHESON team,” Kroll said.
“Quimby complements our existing leading position in medical and specialty gases with a competence in welding gases and supplies which will provide more value for our customers in the Northwest.”
