Messer has appointed Heike Niehues as a member of the Supervisory Board with effect from the 1st of April 2017.
Niehues joins Nathalie von Siemens as the second woman in the Messer Group’s seven-member supervisory body.
Niehues has worked at the German multinational engineering and electronics company, Robert Bosch GmbH, since 1993. There, she currently holds the position of Senior Vice-President.
Prior to her current position, the graduated business economist held a variety of executive positions inter alia in Japan and Taiwan with responsibility for the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) countries in the fields of sales, marketing, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and management.
