Messer answers care sector demands by creating a new headquarter for medical gases and health technology division in Gumpoldskirchen, Austria.
The company describes the new headquarters as illustrative of the harmony between the company’s commercial activities and its values. Messer recently instigated construction of the new unit and commemorated the event by laying the foundation stone.
In addition to the new unit, Messer will expand the medical products warehouse from 300 to 1,000m². Similarly, there are plans for Medical Austria to operate two modern workshops; one for rehabilitation equipment, such as wheelchairs, and another for the repair and maintenance of medical devices.
Managing Director of Messer Medical, Matthias Thiele, said, “The new warehouse space facilitates the cost-saving use of containers, and we can deliver ex warehouse without customers having to wait. Thanks to our in-house emergency service, we are available 24 hours a day, including at weekends.”
“We offer the full range of equipment for oxygen, sleep and respiratory therapy or inhalation, which can be customised directly to patient requirements by the qualified medical product advisors who work in our Service Center. Naturally, the new headquarters of Messer Medical are designed to provide unrestricted access and offer ample parking for people with disabilities.”
Chief Executive Officer for the Group, Stefan Messer, commented on the approachability of Messer’s Medical team, saying, “Our medical product advisors are available 365 days a year to answer patients’ questions on every aspect of our portfolio of products and services. These conversations can be very intimate, as I’m sure you can imagine.”
