Honeywell has signed an agreement with Intekm, one of the leading system integrators in Turkmenistan, to offer Turkmenistan’s gas sector access to Honeywell’s global technology and expertise.
Turkmenistan has one of the largest gas reserves in the world and the country’s gas industry is a fundamental part of its economy.
Significant investments have been made to develop the production and export of gas during the past 20 years.
“Honeywell Process Solutions is well known for its commitment to technology leadership and quality products,” said Michael Shabasanov, Intek deputy general manager.
“Through our close collaboration we can meet the requests of Turkmenistan’s gas industry and offer customers complete solutions from front-end engineering to operations and maintenance services.”
added Michael Shabasanov, Intek deputy general manager.
Honeywell and Intek have worked together for more than five years and have jointly implemented various projects in Turkmenistan, including three gas metering stations in critical pipeline applications, each with capacity of 40-60 million m3.
“This agreement represents our commitment to strengthen our offerings and to provide our customers in Turkmenistan with high quality solutions and services,” said Umesh Patel, business operations director at Honeywell Process Solutions.
“We believe that our collaboration with Intek allows us to offer local customers the relevant range of services for gas metering and regulation solutions.”
