The Linde Group has announced a new leader to take over the helm as the President and CEO of Linde Engineering North America (LENA).
Jason Cooper, who has been with The Linde Group since 2008, has been appointed as LENA’s new leader. He holds 22 years of experience in both domestic and international levels of engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) corporate environments.
He started his tenure with the Tier One corporation as a Business Unit Manager responsible for Hydrogen and Synthesis Gas, before assuming roles including Vice-President of Project Management and Construction. Most recently, Cooper served as the Managing Director of the company’s Southeast Asia region.
Under his new position, Cooper will work primarily from LENA’s Houston office with a core focus on maintaining ongoing presence throughout the company’s geographic footprint.
He enthused about taking on his new post and stated, “I see great opportunities for LENA’s future. We will continue to push for our strong collaboration with customers and partners, driving for innovative solutions and delivering successful projects.”
Dr. Christian Bruch, Linde Group Executive Board, said the company looks forward to the “executive leadership” that Cooper will deliver as LENA continues to explore growth opportunities.
It is understood that Cooper takes the leadership reins from previous President and CEO Steve Bertone.
