Cyl-Tec, Inc. has appointed James Herron to the newly created management position of project manager.
Herron joins Cyl-Tec with a six-year background in plant management and operations, bulk cryogenic distribution, gas cylinder re-qualification and technical sales.
Prior to joining Cyl-Tec, Herron served as the plant and bulk cryogenic operations manager at United States Welding, Inc. headquartered in Denver, CO.
“James brings enthusiasm and a diverse skill set and will be a great addition to our growing team here,” enthused Tom Bennett, vice-president and general manager of Cyl-Tec.
Cyl-Tec provides the industry with a full line of high quality cylinders and related supplies to the packaged gas industry, including high-pressure steel, aluminum, acetylene, cryogenic cylinders and UN & USDOT/TC approved ISO cylinders.
Cyl-Tec also operates the largest US D.O.T. approved ultrasonic and hydrostatic cylinder re-qualification center in the Midwest as well as an expert cryogenic cylinder repair and warranty center featuring expert repairs and fast turn-around.
Cyl-Tec, Inc. has formed a partnership with Ontario, Canada-based Certified Cylinder Services, Inc. in Mississauga, to create a new warehouse for compressed and liquefied gas cylinders, repair services, and valves to better serve customers in the Canadian market.
